Fee changes March 15 for patents and April 25 for trademarks 2025
On March 15, PRV will change some of its fees regarding patents. The new fees that apply to trademarks come into effect on April 25.

Calculation of Supplementary Protection Certificate
In a decision (PMÄ 7804-24) dated the 11th of November 2024, The Patent and Market Court (PMD) states that article 13 in the Regulation of supplementary protection certificates means that the duration of a certificate shall reflect the time between the filing date of the patent application, including the fling day, and the approval date for marketing the product.
From PRV to the Media Authority (Mediemyndigheten)
As of January 1, 2025, all management of certificates of publication for periodicals will be transferred from PRV to the Media Authority.
From 1 January 2025 new equivalent amounts in PCT-fees are established
Changed PCT fees from 1 January 2025 due to currency adjustments.
