Delivery targets

Here are PRV's delivery targets, meaning what we want to promise you as a customer.

PRV is one of few patent and registration offices in the world that has quality certified its whole operation. We strive to be among the top authorities within our area regarding short delivery times and high processing and examination quality.

PRV’s task is to provide efficient and appropriate systems for the registration of industrial property rights. Further, it is to work to improve the conditions for enterprise and business through appropriate and qualitative information and service with regard to intellectual property.

PRV will continue to work to ensure that the competence of its operation and the information that is found in its registers benefit society in an appropriate and effective manner.

We work continuously to develop our operation and our services from a customer perspective.
This means that we:

  • maintain short delivery times (see below for more information)
  • has a legally secure and professional handling
  • provide efficient, interactive online services
  • are helpful and service-oriented
  • give clear and comprehensible decisions
  • maintain a dialogue with our customers
  • welcome and respond to feedback regarding our operations.

Short delivery times

We know that short delivery times are important to our customers. At the same time we must, in certain situations, wait for database updates so that the examination will be of high quality. The time a case is set aside waiting for a customer to reply in connection with a notice can also affect the final delivery time.

In order to maintain short delivery times, we are dependent on complete and correct applications, that the time limits which apply for replying to a notice are kept and that the payment is made on time and as stated.

Operational goals

In our planning, we have set the following operational goals:
