Once you have responded to a technical opinion, we will consider your arguments and any amendments. If we still consider the invention not patentable, we will reject your application.

A decision to reject an application is always discussed between the patent examiner and a special patent expert before it is taken.

You can appeal a refusal to the Patent-och marknadsdomstolen (in
Sweden).
