Change of agent

Here you can read about how to make changes to your patent application or your patent.
In order for PRV to register changes in the patent register such as a new name of the patentee, a new address or a new owner, a written assignment must be filed. Some changes require the filing of a document proving the basis for the registration.
For more information regarding what requirements apply for different changes, please see below.

If a patent application or patent has been assigned to a new applicant or owner, for example after a sale, you can request that the change is entered in the patent application diary or the patent register.
PRV's address registers are not automatically updated.
If you have given someone else permission to use your patent through a licence agreement, you can request registration of that in the patent register.
A holder of a Swedish or European patent valid in Sweden can request a so-called patent limitation at any time during the term of the patent.
