Protein and nucleic acid sequences
If your invention concerns amino acid sequences or nucleotide sequences, you must end your description with a sequence listing of them. Use language-neutral vocabulary in your sequence list. It should be understandable without knowledge of a foreign language.
It should therefore be drawn up according to WIPO Standard 25, which uses standardised numerical codes and terms. If you use the scientific (Latin) name of an organism, you will be able to use the same sequence listing at all patent offices.
