Monitor your design

In fact, patent and registration offices are no longer examining designs registered in the past. For example, it is now possible to register designs which are in force throughout the EU and in Sweden, although there already are similar or identical registered designs. For that reason, design owners must prevent infringement themselves by defending their registered rights.

This means that we can offer you cost-effective monitoring services. In addition, we always discuss the search with you in order to optimize the monitoring of your design.

We send regular reports

You will receive our reports once a month unless we have agreed otherwise. We always strive to make the reports as clear and easy to read as possible. Delivery is as agreed by fax, post, email or FTP server, and all of our commissions are bound by secrecy .

We monitor a large number of databases and registers

We have access to numerous databases and registers. Here are some examples of registers and databases that we use:

• The Swedish National Register for design applications and registrations.
• The Community design register (the EU design register).
• The Swedish Patent and Registration Office's register of trademarks (if it is relevant to your design).

The cost of monitoring a design in the above registers and databases is normally 8000 SEK per year, excluding VAT.

Monitoring a designer or a certain applicant

You can monitor whether a certain designer or company submits design applications to PRV and thereby keep an eye on your competitors. This service costs 5600 SEK per year, excluding VAT.

Monitoring a product, an appearance or a class

You can monitor if anything new happens in your areas of interest. For example, you can monitor if an application is made for a design similar to yours, or you can choose to monitor a specific design class. This service costs 5600 SEK per year, excluding VAT.

Monitoring register information

You can follow what is happening in a specific application or registration by monitoring the design register. For example, you can get information about whether an application has been registered or rejected, or if a registration has been renewed or not. This service costs 5600 SEK per year, excluding VAT.

Other monitoring services

We can customize a monitoring service to suit your needs, using your specifications and all of the databases and registers available to us. The cost is by quotation.
