Renew a trademark registration

A trademark registration is valid for ten years, meaning you need to renew it every ten years. If you choose to renew your trademark via our e-service and pay by card, the registration will be renewed the next day. If you apply using a paper form or through a deposit account, it currently takes 1–2 months to receive confirmation.

Opposition

Currently, it takes 3 months after the exchange of written submissions between the parties has been completed before a decision is issued in a trademark opposition case.
